Use a Nasal Spray and Protect your Marriage

Arguments and fights are known as two major hindrances in a successful marriage. And therefore to prevent the same and to make marriages go on and on for life ling, researchers have produced a nasal spray which according to them, would help in smashing the heat out of quarrels.

This is for the first time that such a study has been conducted by the researchers at the University of Zurich. What they found is quite surprising but beneficial too.

They sprayed this nasal spray on few couples before initiating a controversial discussion. It consisted of a compound that contains the hormone oxytocin. As a result, the couple behaved more positively in the later part of their argument and they ended their controversy in a far better and peaceful way.

The emotional effects of this spray were higher on men as compared to women. Women involved were quite friendly, less demanding and less anxious. Men were highly aware of social cues, and were more likely to engage in quarrel.

Oxytocin is basically produced in the hypothalamus region of brain. It commonly occurs during the times of labour pain to women as it widens the cervix, increase contractions and also shoot up the production of milk in mother's breast. All this helped the researchers studied its effects on stress also and the functioning of autonomic nervous system, at the time of discrepancies between couples.
