Repeated miscarriage instances in early pregnancy do not mean that the woman’s body is rejecting her pregnancy but the case is opposite saying that such instances occur because those women are super-fertile to even allow the imperfect embryos implant in their uterus.
The above findings have been confirmed by Professor Nick Macklon, a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton, who said that their studies have shown evidences supporting the fact that women, losing their babies early in pregnancy are at such risks because they are too good at letting those embryos also implant that normally do not survive.
He added that women, who suffered repeated miscarriage, should not at all feel guilty and think that their body is rejecting their pregnancy or is imperfect to support one because the facts are different.
He continued: “But we have discovered it may not be because they cannot carry; it is because they may simply be super-fertile, as they allow embryos which would normally not survive to implant”.
In their research, professor and his team at University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands ran a comparison between the cells collected from the lining of the wombs of women suffering from recurrent miscarriage and the other ones, who had normal fertility cycle declaring their encouragement towards implantation of embryos regardless of their quality in the former group.
