Olympus Introduces a Wide Range of its Micro Four Thirds Lenses

Without effective lenses, a camera is not worth buying. It is basically the lenses that make a camera functions the best. And if you ask me the name of such a brand from which best quality lenses can be expected then it is Olympus.

According to information sources, the company is working on some very nice Micro Four Thirds lenses these days. At Photokina, the company has displayed its new and advanced range of 60mm f2.8 macro, odd 15mm f8 body-cap lens, and its black limited edition version of its 12mm f2. Also, it has announced to introduce its new range of 17mm f1.8 lenses also.

Describing all of them, the 60mm macro lens is weather-resistant and is quite big with 13 different elements. There is a focus-limiter switch, distance/magnification scale readout and large focus ring. There are many other features waiting to surprise you, so go through them in advance before the lens ships in October.

As far as the flat 15mm f8 lens is concerned, with a manual lever for covering the lens and a switch that is tied between infinite and sub-1 foot focus distance, the lens doubles similar to that of a body cap.

The 12mm f2 lens is presently available in a very bright and shiny champagne silver color. Olympus will soon be introducing a limited edition version in black.
