New Versions Of iPhone and iOS Not To Support Google Maps App

Wednesday, Apple launched an update, which mentioned the software included in its new version of iPhone, making an emphasis on its latest changes brought about. Well it missed out Google maps. Was that a mistake or is it that the new version will not be supporting the application?

Soon, millions of those, opting for the iPhone 5 will get know and miss out their Google maps. To a big surprise to the users, the company has replaced the Google maps, which have served it since it began launching its iPhones, way back in 2007.

Users' reviews suggest that the new software adopted by the company is eye-catching, but it has no competition with the Google maps, definitely holds up a few small problems.

A few of them while giving their feedback, affirmed that searching out for an in-town location, might end up popping an all-together new and different city. Further, the software fails to mention regarding the information about public transportation.

The earlier version launched of iOS, supported a Maps app, which was prepared by Apple, but operated by Google maps. Even in the new version of iOS, the app has been replaced by software that is total in control of Apple. The company was planning of the replacement after Google emerged as more of rival than partner.
