Experts Prefer Slimming Classes over Dieting under Medical Professional’s Superv

Experts suggest dieters to not try dieting on their own rather they suggest people to join a slimming group to notice the best results in their weight-loss.

The above are the suggestions coming from psychologists, who believe that joining slimming groups for the purpose of weight-loss gains support of the dieters and they lose approx three times more as compared to the people, who practice weight loss under supervisions of medical professionals.

The results were double among those, who attended slimming classes like Weight Watchers, etc, said the study. Yes, the second result of the study said that people lost double the amount of weight as compared to ones, who followed a strict weight-loss program set up by a doctor.

Experts explained that the above findings are partially the result of inspiration that the dieters gain from someone in the slimming group, who has personally had weight-loss success.

Group classes are the best ways to encourage the joined members to share their experiences with all others and enable them to reach to their goal weight and mark their success.

Ms. Angela Marinilli Pinto, Assistant Professor of psychology at Baruch College in the City University of New York, who led the trial over 155 people to conclude the above results, said: "This study is important because, with almost 70 per cent of American adults classified as overweight or obese, there is a need to provide practical treatment solutions that are effective, accessible, and affordable".
