Katie Holmes And Tom Cruise Say It Was Love At First Sight

Admitting that it was love at first sight, actor Tom Cruise in his interview with The New York Times says: 'I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her.'

On her part, Katie claims: 'I was completely in love. I admired him growing up - he's Tom Cruise. . . . And when I met him, he was so warm and I thought, Wow! You can be a superstar and a human being. He made me feel so amazing.'

Theirs has not been an easy to handle relationship that is for the public, what with the age and religious differences, to Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch and shouting he was in love. Fraught with controversy right from the word go, rumours persisted about Katie becoming a completely submissive wife, rumours that she dismisses, saying: 'From the very beginning, I've made choices in my life that have been very strong.' Cruise, on his part says there are no regrets, whatsoever. 'My feeling is, go big or go home,' he states.
