Research in Motion has confirmed that it was going to launch its BlackBerry Storm 2 smartphone in the UK markets later this month from Vodafone.
The upcoming device, which is expected to hit the UK market from 26 Oct., will be available with WiFi capability and GPS for maps and other location-based applications.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 is equipped with 3.25-inch 360x480 touch-screen and a 2GB internal memory, which can be stretched up to 32GB with a micro-DS card and a 3.2Mp camera.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 introduces a new technology called SurePress that is based on electronic suspension system, which provide its user with tactile feedback when its touch-screen is pressed.
The company also claimed that typing on phones virtual keyboard will be easier as well as more accurate.
