It was an effort to celebrate the battle they’ve won, together with the medical staff, and continue fighting against cancer.

Lee Smailes, a five year breast cancer survivor said, "It is very important because when I first found out I was diagnosed with cancer, breast cancer, there were so many people I didn't even know, friends of friends, the would call me and talk to me. It is very important".

This was also a great opportunity for the survivors to learn latest advances in treatment and care.
