In what can be termed as a revolutionary product launch, Sir James Dyson's latest household invention - the bladeless fan called Dyson Air Multiplier - has officially hit the Australian stores, with department stores and home appliance outlets to commence sales of the product Wednesday onwards!
The innovative Dyson Air Multiplier, which is capable of creating a powerful, cooling breeze apparently from thin air, comes from the company that earlier brought for the customers a bag-less vacuum cleaner.
The new device, which will be available in a spectrum of metallic colors, will come in two sizes, and at a price! While the low-end 50cm Dyson Air Multiplier model will cost $379, the bigger 55cm high model will cost $399.
With reference to the initial public response to the new Air Multiplier in leading global markets since the last week news leak about the machine, Dyson said: "The response was amazing, people were really excited."
Acknowledging the Australian public's appreciation of the new design as well as the Australian retailers' sales ability, Dyson said that the Air Multiplier was in time for the summer season in the country.
About the launch strategy of the Air Multiplier, Dyson added: "We're tried to launch it simultaneously globally, but here in Australia we're doing a full shop launch because it is the right season for it."
