Electronics giant RadioShack has reported declining profits in its third quarter report made public on Monday. As the profits take a 24% plunge, the income figures stand firm at $0.30 for each share or $37.4 Million.
This is a substantial fall when compared to last year's figures posted at the same time, which were - $0.38 per share or $49.1 Million.
The reported figures fall a little below what the analysts had estimated in a poll by Thomson Reuters. Their expected figures stood firm $0.31 per share.
Exact figures reported reveal that revenue has shown a decline from last year and now stands at $990 million. Previous year's revenue at the same time was reported as $960.95 Million. Further making things bleak for RadioShack is the fact that sales at its various stores have also considerably dipped.
Currently, RadioShack has nearly 4,470 company run stores in addition to about 1,300 dealer outlets. Also, the company has more than 450 wireless phone kiosks across America and around 200 company run stores in various Mexican states.
