A detailed YouTube video sneak peak of one of the Sony Ericsson's forthcoming smartphones has probably let the cat out of the bag for the company, uncovering its under-the-wraps-thus-far device - Xperia X3!

Slated to be Sony Ericsson's first smartphone based on the Google Android operating system, the recent video corroborates the earlier stories about the X3, which clearly is a high-end device, scheduled for release on November 3.

With the model's 'X3' name has not yet been fully confirmed, there are reports that the device, which goes by the code-name 'Rachael,' might possibly be named either 'X10' or 'Infinity.'

Going by the buzz about the upcoming Sony Xperia model, the key features of the tablet-shaped device is its 4-inch, 800-by-400-pixel touchscreen, and a 1 GHz processor Snapdragon processor. However, instead of using Google's standard user interface, the rumored Sony Ericsson's own proprietary Rachael UI of the device will emphasize hugely on social networking.

Some of the other features of the Sony Ericsson Xperia 'X3' are an 8-megapixel camera with flash and support for VGA video recording at 30 fps; Bluetooth 2.1; Wi-Fi; GPS receiver and a microSDHC memory card slot.

The device, to be available in either black or white casing, will allegedly be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) GSM phone with dual-band (900/2100) 3G: 10 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA.
