November Becomes the Best Sales Month for Amazon's Kindle E-Reader

Cyber Monday is yet to roll in, but Amazon has announced that November has been the best month in terms of sales for its Kindle electronic reader, and Cyber Monday is thus expected to be even better. According to Amazon, Kindle continues to reign as the "most wished for, the most gifted, and the #1 bestselling product" across all products and categories offered on the giant retail site.

"Kindle is a great gift for anyone who loves to read and it's flying off the shelves faster than any other product Amazon sells. We're seeing lots of people buying from one to a handful of Kindles as gifts for friends or family, as well as many businesses and other organizations buying Kindles in large quantities for their employees or customers", said Ian Freed, Vice President of Amazon Kindle.

Although no sales or profit figures have been shared by Amazon for the Kindle, it definitely is the best selling e-reader available on the market. Official figures have confirmed that Amazon and Kindle together occupy the biggest share in the e-reader market.

Experts have shared that e-readers are likely to be the most gifted electronic gadgets of the upcoming season. In this light, Kindle's sales, it seems, will go up even more.

The latest version of Kindle, released in October, is priced at $259, and is available at amazon. com/kindle for immediate sale and shipping.
