Hulu once outdated the traditional search by adding site-wide tags, which made it very easy to find information. And now again this video content site's platform is adding “caption search”, which lets users search for keywords within the closed captions for videos of TV shows on the site.
With just a word added in the captions tab, users will be able to bring the specified video in no time. The results will be shown as thumbnails which can then be selected be selected.
But one of the most interesting parts of Captions Search is the linear heat map that shows what users are interested in when watching a video. So it can be used to select only those parts which you are interested in watching. By clicking the blue lines in the map one can directly go to those sections which are of interest.
