Vodafone is all set to bring its own iPhone plans to the market. The biggest mobile operator is launching its new iPhone on 14 January 2010 across Britain.
The company will offer customers a free handset for £35 a month on a two-year contract. Under this contract, free call of 600 minutes with unlimited texts and Wi-Fi services are given.
Orange started it all last month when it started selling the iPhone, ending O2's two-year exclusive grip on the handset, then this month Tesco arrived. And now Vodafone is all set to join O2, Orange and Tesco in offering Apple's popular handset.
Vodafone's "entry-level" prices for the iPhone spread over 18 months are about £15 more expensive than Orange and O2. Whereas the entry level prices of the company for two year contract are about £40 cheaper than O2, but almost £75 more expensive than Orange.
O2 is the most expensive on the 16GB iPhone which works out at £909.35, second comes Vodafone with £869 and £829.64 for Orange customers.
