In a cryptic message posted on social networking site Twitter. com, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer Katy Perry, who exchanged engagement rings with actor Russell Brand on New Year's Eve, hinted at her possible pregnancy with Brand's baby.

Perry's recently-posted message on Twitter reads thus: "Hey RustyRockets (Brand) I heard ur prego-ed. I love you RustyRockets;" and has evidently ignited reports about the pair being set to start a family.

Perry, 25, met Brand, 34, on the sets of a movie in which Perry had a small role, wherein she had to "make out with him (Brand)." The couple started dating, and only within four months Brand proposed to Perry, while they were on a sun-soaked vacation in India.

According to reports, it was after a beautiful moonlight dinner, complete with fireworks and even an Indian elephant, that brand popped the big question to Perry, who later said in a Twitter post: "Let me tell you 2010 is BUMPIN!"

Though the agents of Brand and Perry have refused to officially confirm the speculations about Perry's pregnancy, an 'inside' source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper that the couple has "fallen head over heels for each other."

The source further said that Brand had expressed his desire to start a family soon, and added: "We'd be thrilled if they (Brand and Perry) are having babies together."
