A 17 year old Texas boy, who the Houston police shared had confessed to hiring a friend to kill his mother, has now denied any involvement in the stabbing death.
As per information shared by the police, Danish Minhas had told investigators that he had hired his 18 year old friend, J. Mohamed, to stab his mother to death because she had been too controlling. The police has stressed that both the teenagers had confessed to the crime.
But Minhas has told the Houston Chronicles in a jailhouse interview that his statement to the police had been "out of necessity" and is accusing Mohamed alone, who declined to be involved in any interviews.
On November 25, Minhas had called the police to inform that he had come home to find his 43 year old mother "fatally stabbed".
According to the police, David had been objecting to rules set by his mother which required him, among other things, to help with chores and be home by a certain curfew.
Minhas, however, has told the newspaper that he misses his mother.
