Scheduled for a 2010 release, the Batman 3 flick, so says the Sun, will feature Shia LeBeouf, 'Transformers' star as Robin, with Rachel Weisz as Catwoman, though circulating rumours would have us believe the role was to be played by Cher, 62.

With a guaranteed cliff-hanger ending, the new Batman film will leave audiences wondering, whether Batman survives an explosion at Wayne Towers . According to British tabloid - Sun, Nolan was not sure whether he wanted to make another movie, but as soon as he made up his mind, he set the wheels in motion. The inside source goes on to add: 'Eddie's a fantastic addition. Everyone's excited to see what he does as the Riddler.'

With the Oscar buzz swirling around 'The Dark Knight', the British tabloids have been having a field day gossiping over the caped crusader's next big screen adventure, with some unlikely candidates rumored to fill some classic roles.

But, in the latest, Murphy's representative told Access Hollywood, there's no truth to the rumours. However, with recent box office flops like 'Norbit' and 'Meet Dave', if the U. K. rumors turn out to be true, the role of The Riddler would give Murphy's career, a much-needed shot adrenaline. Others rumoured to be joining him are, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Shia LeBeouf (Robin), Rachel Weisz (Catwoman), and perhaps early reports of Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin could be resurrected.
