All those who purchase the Equss, Hyundai's latest offering and reportedly the company's answer to the luxury vehicles manufactured by Lexus, will not be finding an owner's manual anywhere in the car. Instead, with the aim to be more eco-friendly, the company has equipped the model with Apple's iPad.
It has been announced by Hyundai that all the new customers would be receiving an Apple iPad on the purchase of Equus Luxury Sedan. This iPad would be pre-loaded with a digital version of car’s owner’s manual.
Another benefit of this iPad Hyundai application is that the customer can make service appointments very easily.
On Wednesday, Hyundai Motor Company announced that it would be recalling as many as 46,000 new Sonata sedans in South Korea, and 1,300 units from across the US, becoming the newest global automobiles manufacturer to issue a large-scale recall.
Official announcements have confirmed that the US sales of the 2011 Sonata sedan have been ceased by South Korea's Hyundai Motor, mainly because of door lock issues, a development which sent the shares of the company down by over 4% over fears that it might become stained in a damaging recall crisis like Toyota Motor Corp., the Japanese competitor.
