Sprint Corp headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas for almost a decade has lost massive amounts of money and has trimmed jobs to cut its spending.
Marcelo Claure, the company's CEO has been holding the helm for turbulent months and with Sprint's fourth-quarter and 2015 full-year earnings report, he promised some big changes at the wireless carrier.

Sprint Corp., the wireless carrier might just have won the worried investors on its side as the company reported gains on Tuesday during its quarterly update.
Customer counts of the company climbed and so did the progress on major elements in the company's complex turnaround plan. Following the report, the company's shares scaled up 18.7 percent.

On Sunday, Sprint Corp S.N. said it plans to trim costs by almost $2.5 billion in the coming year with job cuts and other expense cutting measures. It's all a part of an ongoing effort to turnaround the company.
With the estimated amount of cost which Sprint wants to save about ten percent of its 31,000 employees could lose their jobs.

On Monday, Sprint Corp. the number three wireless carrier in the U. S said that it was trimming 2,000 jobs as an effort to reduce costs and counter balance a quarterly loss of $765 million which is approximately Rs. 4,700 crores.
