Leading gas exporters meet in Moscow

Moscow - Leading gas-exporting countries are consulting in Moscow Tuesday on how to strengthen their cooperation, raising fears in Europe the group could evolve into an OPEC-style cartel.

Russia and the 11 other members of The Gas-Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) are to sign a charter in a move to formalize the organization.

Bulgaria and Russia sign agreements on fishing

Sofia - Bulgaria became on Monday the first European Union state to sign an agreement with Russia on the trade of fish and fish products.

The agreement allows Bulgarian fish processing plants to export their products to Russia, said the Bulgarian Agriculture Ministry in Sofia.

Russia warns energy supplies to Europe at risk in Ukraine dispute

Moscow - Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom Monday warned European customers of a potential shortage in gas supplies, as it has hit a deadlock in a pricing dispute with Ukraine.
