New Xbox Live Video Channel Being Planned by Microsoft

It has been reported that Microsoft and ex-News Corp., President, Peter Chernin allegedly talked about upcoming growth of an official Xbox TV channel, which is expected to be co-owned by Microsoft and Chenin.

It is said that the alleged contract would be limited for the Xbox 360 game console only.

According to media reports, the selected TV content is to target the young, male Xbox 360 gamers.

However, it would need an Xbox Live price boost of $1 or $2 every month.

It has been reported that internet gamers might be keen in paying a dollar or more extra every month, but it will depend a great deal on the kind of access they receive to the content.

Allegedly, Chernin is shopping quite a few TV circulation concepts around to various parties, since he is seeking for fresh profit streams in a mounting economy.

It has been said that the Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii all are compatible with streaming Netflix access, with TV and movie matter creators aspiring for novel markets.

Also, a concept of an Xbox 360 TV show for late night humorist Conan O'Brien, who finally signed with TBS, was being discussed by Chernin.
