Depression and Trans Fat Food Have Close Link
According to sources the consumption of trans fat in diet causes depression among the people. Consumption of fat content in food is said to increase the depression among people. TFAs affect the health and increase the risk of depression.
Spanish investigators have found a whopping 48 percent increase in depression rates for those whose dies constitutes of trans fats.
These findings also suggest that too much of fatty products affect the cardiovascular system of human body. The consumption of junk food increases these problems.
"The results were not surprising and I think the message is clear: 'try to eat healthy,'" lead study author Almudena Sánchez-Villegas, PhD, told Medscape Medical News.
Food containing very high amount of oil and fat should be avoided. Commercial bakery products also contain a large amount of trans-fat. People should have a balanced diet.
Eating healthy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can help improving the health and its associated things. People should exercise everyday and should always prefer to use the stairs rather than using lifts or escalators.
Following this advice, she added, will not only protect against cardiovascular disease but as suggested by this and other recent research, also mental illness.
