Women in Britain Spend More Than £100,000 on Cosmetics: Study

A research claims that women spend more than £100,000 on buying cosmetics in their life time. The research surveyed 2,000 women in Britain, belonging to the age group of 16 and 65. The survey revealed that each women spends 40 pounds per week that comes to 2,000 pounds a year on the cosmetic products that they felt will enhance their appearance.

The company Biosen conducted the research and they also found that more than 57% women of Birmingham accepted that make-up was more important to them than their relationship with their boyfriends. Another two third of the women preferred buying cosmetics rather than going out for dinner dates.

The research revealed that a woman’s bag in Britain consisted of cosmetics worth 130 pounds and maximum women carried atleast 16 cosmetic products with themselves while moving out of their houses. Moreover, women possessed 40 other cosmetic items at their homes in their bathroom closets and dressing table’s, with products from 12 different countries. The women in Britain were fond of branded cosmetics and spending 20-30 pounds on mascara was not a big deal for them.

Moreover, two third women accepted that a replacement of the cosmetics will amount to £550, whereas, some women believed that it could extend up to £700, revealed the Daily Express.
