Placentas can be the new photo-frames to show off newborn baby pics
Mothers can now preserve their pregnancy memories with their placentas converted into a beautiful picture frame which can display their baby’s newborn pictures.
Graduate Amanda Cotton has come up with a new way to create marble-effect picture frames using the placenta and is already receiving orders from new parents.
The procedure she has devised involves boiling and cooking of the placenta and grinding it into pieces first following which she puts them into moulds with resin and other stuff.
A graduate from the University of Brighton said that she has received a very positive feedback from would-be parents and she already has clients as well.
Ulrika Jarl has placed an order for a photo frame, who is right now expecting her second daughter at Christmas. She will store her placenta in a cool box so that it can be picked up by Miss Cotton and converted into a beautiful frame.
Miss Jarl said that she can totally relate to some people who may think of this idea to be ‘eew’ but she thought of it because a lot of waste material can be used to create awesome stuff.
