Apple officially starts selling refurbished versions of previous iPhones
As part of an update of its online refurbished store, tech giant Apple has, for the first time, officially started selling refurbished models of a range of iPhones from the previous generations of the company flagship handsets.
The inclusion of different iPhone models in Apple's online refurbished store will enable customers to buy certified refurbished iPhones at a lower cost directly from the company.
According to the listings of the refurbished iPhone models, the handsets that will be available for purchase from Apple's online refurbished store will be unlocked, SIM-free models which will come with a one-year warranty.
Currently, the iPhones being sold by Apple at its online refurbished store are the different models of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus handsets in different configurations. The cost of a refurbished 16GB iPhone 6s being sold by Apple for $449; while a 16GB iPhone 6s Plus is available for $529, and a 64 GB iPhone 6s Plus is priced at $589.
All the iPhones which Apple is presently selling at its online refurbished store are available in three color options --- Silver, Space gray, and Rose gold.
