Jennifer Lopez signs a deal with Universal Media Studios

NBC Universal's division Universal Media Studios struck a deal with Jennifer Lopez and her company Nuyorican Productions signing them for a two year contract on first look television development deal. Via this deal, the NBC aims to come up with a series of television projects unique in its content. The proposed project was announced by NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios co-chairman Ben Silverman.

Police discovers a gun used in Hudson’s family homicide

It was one of the breakthroughs achieved for the Chicago Police as they found an evidence in the Hudson family killings. The police recovered a gun which was supposedly used to kill the Academy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and young nephew. The gun was lying in the vacant space in a corner where the body of the deceased seven year old Julian King was recovered inside an SUV on Monday.

Selenium and vitamin E don't help in curing prostate cancer

Some earlier researches showed that intake of vitamin E and Selenium helps in curing prostate cancer. But a seven-year research on the effects of Vitamin E and selenium supplements on prostate cancer was stopped.

Analysis of the data collected from more than 35,000 subjects and 400 sites across the United States showed that there were slightly more prostate cancers in men taking vitamin E alone, and slightly more diabetes in men taking only selenium. The 114 million-dollars study was conducted by U.S. National Cancer Institute.

Female War Veterans Haunted By Sexual Trauma

Women may have acquired the privilege of joining the armed forces on equal footing to their male counterparts, however, a new study reveals that one in seven female Iraq and Afghanistan veterans seeking VA medical care, reported undergoing incidents of sexual trauma, such as, rape and sexual harassment during military service. Those reporting sexual trauma were three times more likely to suffer from depression, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, drug addiction or alcoholism, including other mental illnesses.

Reward of $100,000 for Hudson’s missing nephew

A reward of $100,000 has been offered for tracing Jennifer Hudson’s nephew. The reward was announced by Hudson’s family for 7 year old Julian King who has been missing ever since Hudson’s mother and brother were shot dead in Chicago.

Jennifer has appealed to her fans through a blog post to trace her nephew.
